Carbon Credits · Verification as a Service

From planted seedling to issued credit.

Nurseryz.io ships the data layer that Gold Standard, Plan Vivo and REDD+ verification bodies actually need — GPS-stamped, photo-evidenced, survival-tracked from day one.

Talk to a verifier Read methodology

Methodology eligibility

Three standards. One platform.

Each carbon standard has its own gates. We track all three, surface eligibility per programme, and generate the verifier-ready paperwork.

Gold Standard VER
Highest

The premium carbon standard. Strictest verification gates, highest credit price. Requires defensible survival evidence and complete chain-of-custody from nursery to harvest.

Survival coverage≥ 90%
Photo evidence≥ 80%
GPS coverage≥ 95%
Indicative $/tCO₂$18–25
Plan Vivo
Community

Community-led carbon programmes. Lower gates than Gold Standard but requires demonstrated benefit-sharing with smallholder farmers — which Nurseryz.io captures by default.

Survival coverage≥ 80%
Photo evidence≥ 60%
GPS coverage≥ 85%
Indicative $/tCO₂$12–18
REDD+
Forest

Reducing Emissions from Deforestation. Best fit for tree-heavy agroforestry mixes — shade trees, timber, fruit. Programme-level verification rather than per-batch.

Survival coverage≥ 70%
Photo evidence≥ 50%
GPS coverage≥ 90%
Indicative $/tCO₂$8–14

The three gates

From distribution to issuance.

Every credit starts as a seedling. Three checkpoints decide whether it ends as a verified tonne of CO₂.

01

Survival coverage

What % of distributed seedlings have been actually surveyed by a field visit, SMS reply, or QR scan? Without this, you can't claim anything.

Gate: ≥ 70–90% surveyed
02

Photo evidence

What % of surveyed distributions have a GPS-stamped photo of surviving trees? This is the "proof of life" verifiers actually want.

Gate: ≥ 50–80% photo-evidenced
03

GPS coverage

What % of distributions have field-captured GPS coordinates within district centroids? Without it, you can't claim deforestation avoidance.

Gate: ≥ 85–95% GPS-locked

The economics

How a programme
earns its credits.

Worked example for a 10,000-seedling coffee + cocoa programme in Northern Uganda, year 3.

All figures conservative IPCC Tier 2 factors. Final issuance requires methodology audit and the underlying photo/GPS evidence captured during field visits — which Nurseryz.io provides as the data layer.

From seedling to verified credit. In one platform.

If you're running an agroforestry programme that should be earning carbon credits — but can't prove it to a verifier — we should talk.
